The much talked about T-Pain concert in Ghana finally happened on Christmas Eve and it was worth every ounce of the hype it received. The singer/rapper’s performance on the night was one of the best I have seen in a long while; well thought through and delightful to watch! 

Top-selling Nigerian act M.I, also known as Mister Incredible, has been named as the latest addition to the T-Pain Live In Ghana concert, which comes off this Saturday, December 24, at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre.

Asamoah Gyan aka Baby Jet was the first Ghanaian to score in a World Cup and he's scored another first, by becoming the first footballer to venture into hiplife music. American rappers, Fabolous and Redcafe thrilled their fans in Ghana with about two hours of back to back performances this Easter season. The much-anticipated 233 Connect concert at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre saw the headlining act, Fabolous performing some of his old hits and some new tracks from his latest mixtape, 'The S.O.U.L Tape'. Fabulous and Redcafe were obviously excited about performing in Ghana for the first time as they told patrons about how happy they felt about being in Ghana throughout their performances. They were also overwhelmed by the response from the Ghanaian crowd that turned out in their numbers and rapped along to their songs.

The 12th edition of the Ghana Music Awards (GMA) happened over the weekend with the usual pomp and pageantry that has characterized the award ceremony over the years. But besides the fashion statements, music performances, glitz and glam, the ceremony also saw some huge shockers and records set on the night. The top nominated artists couldn't have more than two awards each although Cecelia Marfo, Kwabena Kwabena and Trigmatic each had at least 7 nominations.

American Hip hop act John David Johnson, known in showbiz circles as Fabolous, is set to headline a major musical concert in Ghana. The event, set to be held at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre in April, is billed to be entertaining and exciting, the kind not witnessed for a very long time in the industry.
