All three emcee’s are of Nigerian decent but currently reside in one of the country’s largest live music scenes: Houston, Texas. This city has produced many hip hop and R&B heavy weights and now 4th and Inchez is poised to make their mark on the music industry.

• Wins two Brit awards LONDON-BORN Nigerian rapper Patrick Okogwu, Jr. (aka Tinie Tempah) won two of the four Brit Awards he was nominated on Tuesday night. He won Best British Breakthrough act and best single for the song, Pass Out.

Dapo Oyebanjo better known as D’banj has put together a youth targeted initiative called ‘Our Time’.The Mohits Vice President formally announced this at a press conference on Wednesday, February 2 2011, stating that he would be leading a group of Nigerian artistes that will use this platform to create a campaign that will mobilize the youths to participate in the ongoing voter’s registration exercise.

Femi Kuti will release his new album Africa for Africa on April 12.Africa for Africa will be released through Knitting Factory Records, the same label that recently re-issued his father’s music. Africa for Africa was recorded in Afrodisia/Decca studios in Lagos, Nigeria, where Femi Kuti produced first recordings with his father as well as his breakthrough solo album, Shoki Shoki.
