US-based Congolese musician, once based in Kenya with his Orchestre Virunga band. He is mostly remembered here for hits like Malako, Vunja Mifupa and Dunia Tunapita. Mapangala was recently in Nairobi for performances which peaked at the Ecofest 2006 last Sunday (June 4). His latest album titled Song and Dance was released early this year.
