Its official! Reports coming in suggest that Vodafone Ghana has confirmed that American model Amber Rose will host the second edition of the annual Vodafone 020 Live concert slated for The Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre, September 20.

First Annual East African Music Awards highlight East African genres and talent

The first annual East Africa Music Awards (EMAs) was created to celebrate the different genres of music of the East African region, and reward homegrown talent. The genres that will be recognized include: Rhumba, Contemporary Gospel, Hip Hop, and Taarab, among many others. The ceremony celebrates music from the entire East African region: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The dance sequences of Beyonce hit single "Run The World " were choreographed by her longtime friend Frank Gatson with help from Sheryl Murakami and Mozambican kwaito dance group Tofo Tofo. Beyonce had scoured the Internet and discovered Tofo Tofo on YouTube. The funny thing is they had no idea who Beyonce was when she reached out to them! (Tofo Tofo gets down with Beyonce in a few of the dance numbers.)
