Its official! Reports coming in suggest that Vodafone Ghana has confirmed that American model Amber Rose will host the second edition of the annual Vodafone 020 Live concert slated for The Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre, September 20.

"I’m working on a new album entitled Chapter 5. Music will always be my first love," Trey Songz told Glamazons. "I’m going to South Africa and I’m elated about it. I’m taking my mother and family. That trip will be very instrumental in what this next album will be." 

The first annual East Africa Music Awards (EMAs) was created to celebrate the different genres of music of the East African region, and reward homegrown talent.  The genres that will be recognized include: Rhumba, Contemporary Gospel, Hip Hop, and Taarab, among many others. The ceremony celebrates music from the entire East African region: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The dance sequences of Beyonce hit single "Run The World " were choreographed by her longtime friend Frank Gatson with help from Sheryl Murakami and Mozambican kwaito dance group Tofo Tofo. Beyonce had scoured the Internet and discovered Tofo Tofo on YouTube. The funny thing is they had no idea who Beyonce was when she reached out to them! Wale pitches in on a fundraising event for Artists for Charity.Wale has joined African Connection Relief Event (ACRE), a concert that features music artists from Africa. Wale, whose parents are Nigerian, 2011 BET Award Winner 2Face Idibia, M.I., Banky W, Wizkid, Naeto C and others will be at the event.

So the word on the street is that Boris Kodjoe is slated to direct his first feature film.  In an interview on NBC Nitecap, he shared that he would be directing his first film but declined to give details.
