Angola: Musician Eduardo Paim Presents New Album Sunday

The latest album of the renowned Angolan musician Eduardo Paim "General Kambuengo", entitled "Maruvo na Taça" will be launched Sunday at the gate of the National Radio of Angola (RNA), in Luanda at 8 am, for the public.

Recorded in the country at the artist´s recording studio "EP Estúdio", in Mozambique, South Africa and Portugal, the album has 14 tracks, mainly with Kizomba and Semba music styles, to be purchased at USD 10 (1000 Kwanzas).

The album had special participation of singers such as Nancy Vieira, Bonga Kuenda, Fernando Girão, Voto Gonçalves, Don Caetano, Ângelo Boss, Yuri da Cunha, Big Boss, Papytchulo, Negro Bué, Matias Damásio, among others.

According to "General Kambuengo", the work started in 2000 in Portugal, where he was residing, but due to his mother´s death and other circumstances, the work had to be interrupted for some time.

The singer explained that the title of the album reflects the feeling of Semba, through which he found a way to pass from traditional to classic.

Eduardo Paim, has already published seven albums such as "Do Caiaia", "Novembro", "Luanda Minha Banda", "Ainda a Tempo", "Mugimbos" and project "Canela".

Apart from Angola, the CD to be distributed by Ngola Música, will be available as from Monday in Mozambique, Cape Verde, Portugal, South Africa and other countries.
